About ALC

D259 : Upstairs in D block at the end of the corridor. (The room with the red blinds!)

You can attend any of the maths sessions at any time during the session. See http://alc.cit.ie/info/timetables/ for the most up to date timetable. You can stay for 5 minutes or 2 hours or anything in between. It’s up to you.

So how it works is - you bring along your notes, exercise sheets and maybe past exam papers. Ideally if you have tried some questions that would be best, it doesn't matter how much of the question you are able to do. There will be Maths people at the ALC sessions to help you. If you are not sure how to get started they should be able to help too.

Maths Online is available to all students who are studying a maths or stats module. It should show up on your Blackboard homepage. If not see http://alc.cit.ie/resources/mathsonline/  So what do I need to do to get started? Just call in to any of the maths sessions http://alc.cit.ie/info/timetables or to call in to the Academic Learning Centre (D259) at any time to discuss what it has to offer you.
